Leandro Roque de Oliveira, better known by his stage name Emicida, is a Brazilian MC. He is considered one of the biggest revelations of hip hop in Brazil in recent years, such like the emcees Criolo, Ogi, Projota, Rashid, Marechal, Kamau and among others, showing the raise of Brazilian Hip Hop, and also showing that Brazil is one of the best and more contusing in the genre. The name Emicida is a fusion of the words Emcee and homicide, because of his frequent victories in the battles of improvisation, his friends began to say that Leandro was a "killer", and "kill" their opponents through rhymes. He recently composed a few tracks for the soundtrack of Rockstar Games' Max Payne 3.
