Lionel Richie Announces 2013 North American Tour

On the heels of an exuberant sold-out European tour, this will be Richie’s first US tour in over a decade. The highly anticipated tour kicks off on September 18th at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, and will stop at legendary venues across North America, including the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, the United Center in Chicago, and the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, before it’s last stop at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 18th.


Over the span of his career, the legendary singer has sold over 100 million albums worldwide and garnered 22 top 10 singles, five Grammys, an Oscar for Best Original Score, and a Golden Globe. His latest album, Tuskegee, reached the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 after being released on March 12, 2012.  Named for the Alabama city where Richie grew up, the album features duets of his timeless hits with big name country music artists, including Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Shania Twain, Willie Nelson, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Rogers, and Jimmy Buffett.
